Russia says ‘all targets hit’ in overnight missile barrage on Ukraine

Russia’s Defence Ministry says that all targets assigned by its military for an overnight missile barrage on Ukraine were hit. “The target of the strike has been achieved” announces Igor Konashenkov, a ministry spokesperson. (AFP) – Russia said Tuesday that all the targets assigned by its military in an overnight missile barrage on Ukraine had been hit, after Kyiv announced it had downed nearly 20 Russian missiles.

The defence ministry in Moscow said long-range precision-strike missiles had targeted storage facilities hosting “ammunition, weapons and military equipment supplied by Western countries,” adding that “all assigned targets have been hit”.
