Rising mixed martial artist from Hawaii dies suddenly at 18

HONOLULU (Eagle News) – Up-and-coming MMA athlete Victoria Lee passed away on December 26 last year. Victoria was a 2022 graduate of Mililani High School in Central Oahu.

The tragic announcement came from Victoria’s older sister and MMA champion Angela Lee Pucci via social media on Saturday, January 7, wherein she posted the following:

“She has gone too soon and our family has been completely devastated since then. We miss her. More than anything in this world. Our family will never be the same. Life will never be the same.”

Victoria and Angela are members of the ONE Championship League based in Singapore. Angela is the current ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion and was the Hawaii State Wrestling Champion in 2013.

Their brother, Christian Lee, is the reigning ONE Lightweight World Champion.

Victoria made her professional MMA debut in February 2021.

Despite her age, the 18-year old was already maintaining an unbeaten record of 3-0, which included her last match winning via second-round TKO in September 2021.

Victoria’s cause of death was not announced when her sister shared her social media post.

Angela Lee Pucci made the following request: “Please give our family grace and respect during this most difficult time. And please, check on your loved ones.”
