Houston braces for Tropical Storm Imelda

HOUSTON, TX (Eagle News) — Houston is the 4th largest city in the United States, and today the city braces itself for Tropical Storm Imelda.

While devastation similar to 2017’s Hurricane Harvey is not expected, forecasts predict 8-12 inches of rain through Friday. Galveston and some Houston schools have cancelled classes and Houston’s police chief warns about the flooding hazard and advises residents to avoid unnecessary travel
