(Eagle News) — What is dubbed as the “People’s Convoy” made its way around Interstate 495 in Maryland on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Those participating in the convoy say they are protesting among other things, mask mandates implemented by the government.

Many local and state governments as well as the Federal government have recently lifted Covid-19 restrictions, such as indoor mask mandates.

I-495 is known as the Capital Beltway and runs through Washington D.C., Maryland and Virgina.
