(Eagle News) — To recognize the continuous help and support through the many socio-civic services of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) to the residents and the community of Elizabeth New Jersey, Mayor Chris Bollwage proclaimed July 27 as Iglesia Ni Cristo Day.

July 27, 2021 is not an ordinary day to hold the said event as this also marks the 107th Anniversary of the establishment of this global organization. On this day onwards, in the City of Elizabeth, New Jersey, July 27 is Iglesia Ni Cristo Day.

Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from different parts of New Jersey led by the ministers and workers assembled on the steps of the City Hall to witness the significant occasion.

Meanwhile, still in commemoration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s 107th Anniversary, the Lower Trenton Bridge here in New Jersey became a center of attraction when lit with the tri-color Green, White and Red from 8PM to 11PM on July 27. Members of the church gathered under the Route 1 bridge to get the best view of the lights. In this time of pandemic where indoor gatherings are limited, watching the lighting display with the colors representing their Church is a special way for the members to celebrate their 107th Anniversary.
